The European Commission and the European Committee of the Regions are co-organising the Forum "Cities and Regions for Development Cooperation: Local and regional partnerships for sustainable urban development" (formerly called "Assises of Decentralised Cooperation") on 4 and 5 February 2019 in Brussels.
The 2019 edition will focus on partnerships supporting sustainable urban development.
You will have the opportunity to actively shape the event through an "Open Space" session clustered around the theme of sustainable urban development under the five pillars of the New European Consensus (People, Planet, Prosperity, Peace and Partnership). Through this participatory approach, participants will have the opportunity to suggest topics for discussion in small groups and convey policy recommendations to the European Institutions.
